Lightning

Yesterday afternoon a line of storms came through. We usually unplug everything we can reach ever since we got hit before we moved into the house when we were building it. As the storms got closer I went around and unplugged the kitchen and bedroom phones, and mine and Danny's computer.

I didn't know there was a phone plug in the back of Danny's computer. Needless to say, we lost Danny's computer as well as the cordless phones in the garage and shop (I never unplug those, why I don't know).

Danny was so bummed out and upset. We were thinking we had the new higher deductible for insurance. But, when I called today we still have a low rate so hopefully that will improve Danny's spirits.
Moral of the story: UNPLUG in storms!
