Computer Malfunction

My computer got so complicated and I got so confused that I ended up having to reformat. You know that means losing everything. Fortunately I had a strong feeling that things would end up that way and made backups of most files. Unfortunately I lost my emails and favorites. Still have the address book so that's good, and my genealogy files too! I guess experience is a good teacher. I have had this experience before and this time I listened to my gut and made the backups. If YOU have anything worth keeping make Back-ups a regular part of your computing experience!!!

The biggest part of my problem now is that upon rebooting my XP will not activate and Microsoft is assuming that it's now a bogus copy. I am trying to decide what to do.

This past week I was called back for another interview at Cedar Roads Assembly of God church. You will remember that I applied for a part time secretary position back in May. Well, guess what!? I GOT THE JOB! I guess God thought it was a good thing; I'd told the pastors there that if it was meant to be then God would figure it out. I am so happy about this. I really enjoy working in a church setting. I will begin on Oct. 16

Therapy is going well. My shoulder is doing better now. I had to cancel Friday's appointment to attend the church interview, but promised that I'd do my exercises at home. Reaching up and out is much much better now, but reaching backwards, like for putting a shirt on, is a real killer!
You have no idea!!

Danny's repair business is slowly taking off. One of his former bosses has sent a couple of people over to him. I told Danny that he should take some business cards over to him so he can hand them out. I'm thinking that now that hunting season is upon us things will slow down a mite.

Danny cut the grass this week by hitting the "high" spots. The grass is sooty and he came in looking like a coal miner.

But the weather is beautiful, the butterflies are still hovering over the red zinnias, and the wind is "snowing" yellowing leaves all over the yard. It's still "all good." Enjoy your day and be grateful!
