New Beginnnings

Yesterday was the first day of hunting season and Danny got an 8-pointer!! He's pretty cool about it, but I can tell he was very pleased.

Mom and I went out yesterday after I had therapy. I went with her to Foot Solutions to pick up a pair of shoes they were fixing for her to use her brace with. I told the guy about my problems and he even had a pair of shoes that help me. I could tell a difference pretty quickly. The bad part is shoes like this being so expensive, but I guess they'll replace a few pairs in my closet so I'll end up with more room. They are tennis shoes, not prison matron shoes so that's good. And using them is realigning my poor broken down body so I'm aware of muscles that haven't been used in a long time. I'm walking better with more upright posture already.

I told the vet job that I would not be returning today. When I started looking for another job in early summer I didn't know I'd be having surgery. Now that I have I really don't think I'll be able to do two jobs, working part time 6 days a week. And I don't want to mess up the church job, for sure. I am looking forward to that one, I love doing bulletins and creating things and working on websites; and besides they pay way better than the vet job. If you recall I did my work there faster than they'd anticipated so I made way less money than if they'd paid me my worth. Not my fault that it didn't take me 15-20 hours; I only took 8. Well, good luck to them.

I'm moving on. And I feel like God has lined this up for me so I'm ready!!!
