Just so you'll know I'm writing this at work. We have not had any internet service since last Thursday, Nov. 1. The day before we had Cox come out and fix whatever it was that prevented us from getting the TV guide channel on tv. We hadn't had that for over a year when they moved it from the previous channel number. When my brother said he had it I thought, I want too then. Boy, I wish I'd left it alone now. I miss getting online. No genealogy, no mail, nothing!
But on the other hand, work is going well. This Sunday we are having a military appreciation day and potluck after the service. Guess who's in charge. Luckily for me it's a small congregation; not lucky for me they don't divy up the jobs to various people, but instead, use their new SECRETARY!
But I really Love my job and am glad to be here doing the things I love to do. This afternoon I attended a spiritual moment they have on Wednesdays. About 30 minutes of uplifting discussion and prayer. Now where can you get that at your job?!
Mom's birthday is on Sunday. Not sure when we'll get together, probably Sunday afternoon. She's doing very well for her age, but we all know age is just a number on a piece of paper and that both she and Daddy are way younger than their paper numbers. Happy Birthday, Mom! Love you
