I didn't have to go to work today. That was a good thing. Danny & I neither one felt too good. Must have been something we ate. I'm better now, but he's still laying low. Had eggs for supper. I've been working on my stores. I'm still researching and fine tuning my selections down to the nitty-gritty.
Yesterday we bought a grab-bag full of watches and such at a thrift store we don't get to visit too often, all the way down at Haygood. Some were junk, of course, and we didn't find the one to make us filty rich, but we did find a couple of sleepers in there. Some vintage, some still running. It was fun going through the bag the first time. I considered it an incredibly small version of buying a storage unit at auction. You know, people do that all the time, then sell what they find online. It's supposed to be a good source of items, but always a pig in a poke.
We've rearranged the office building a lot. My keyboard is inside the house out of the way for the moment. Dan has his desk by the back window and we moved the other credenza out for him so now the 2 credenzas are back to back. The corner in the back part of the building is now my ebay sales stuff. I need to install an extension rod across the top and hang my bags up there out of the way but close at hand. The solution came to me last night as a way to contain my MiXeD BAG store items. After they go "up" then I will have room for the keyboard again. Hopefully some of these items will start selling. I'm going to start putting more in auction, that will cause more hits on the store.
So complicated. See why I have to do the research and whittle it down to the nub?
Well, back to work. Keep an eye out for all the changes I'll be making in the near future to various sites. Stay warm.
