Today is my birthday. I've always enjoyed looking forward to my birthdays. It seems like the anticipation is better than the actual event. I remember in grade school counting down each day until it arrived. My friends counted down with me. Then afterwards they wanted to know all about it. A lot of times I'd get to bring home a special friend who would ride the school bus home with me and eat cake and ice cream with me and laugh and howl at the appropriate times as wrapping paper came off gifts. Sometimes there'd even be a party hat! Cool.
Today for my birthday I went to exercise at Contours Express. I love going there. Today they remembered it was my birthday. When I left the girl hollered out for me to have a great rest of the day. Two ladies who'd just come in asked if I was 21. I said, "Hum, how many years have I been 21 now? 30 some?" They both exclaimed, "You can't be 50!!!" And then I told them how old I was and they said, "You look terrific!" It was the perfect birthday present!
I also sold a couple of items over the weekend on eBay so that was a kind of icing on the cake, so to speak. I love it when a plan comes together.
Now I'm going to plan on how I want my greenhouse to look in a few months. Take on the day while it's nice outside. Enjoy!
