Anyway, you can see that I've changed the look of the Lindan Country blog. This time it was inspired by the fact that everything is growing outside and turning green. I also love the photo that I've put for the heading and the look of the new color background did something for me. I like it.
I've just finished my first week at my new job, National Casting. Yep, I'm helping the world get full of manhole covers! Hey, somebody's gotta do it. I worked all day Friday by myself with my office manager on a mini vacation to celebrate her birthday, anniversary, and Mother's Day all rolled into one. My other boss and company owner, called briefly about 3pm from India, where he lives. I believe my hours will be from 10 to 2 each day and may change later. It's all good. (So far).
Melissa came home yesterday for Mother's Day. Lindsey should float in tomorrow in time to eat lunch with us. We're all meeting here after church to enjoy Danny's grilled ribs and smoked turkey.
Melissa and I were looking at her photos on MySpace and she graciously let me copy a couple to share here. One of them is below. It may be linked to my Flickr page; not sure if you have to log in to visit there or not.
Did you know that photos I upload on here from my computer will open in another window if you click on them? That makes them larger. I had never thought about it until the other day.
Speaking of Myspace, anyone else use it? I'd love to add you as a friend.
Well, it's dark outside and late by my standards. I think I hear my pajamas calling me!
