It's taken a while, like a month, but my first month at this job is over. Today I got my first paycheck. (insert cough here) It's a bummer only getting paid once a month. The 4 hour days drag by, but it's ok. I don't dress up. I read my book. I'll get along ok. Today I went with my boss to the bank and post office and the accountant's office. I assume some day I'll be doing that. I think the plan is for me to be able to handle everything so she can finally get a vacation. She's going to Nags Head tonight for an early start to the weekend. I'm cool with Fridays - they're slow days.
Melissa and Rob are coming out this weekend, hopefully to be hear in time for Happy Hour. Melissa will turn 26 on June 4 so it will be a birthday party weekend. It should be good!
