Last night I went to the first meeting of the yarn group that the Happy Hour ladies started. We met at Nancy’s house along with Violet, Diane, Cheryl (Diane’s neighbor), SIL and me. Violet and I sat and laughed our way through finishing a couple of loom projects while the others knitted. They got me started later on a knitting project; we’ll see how far that one goes!
Today actually got to be really nice outside. Unfortunately it was while we were doing errands. We’ve been noticing a noise coming from what seems to be the front brake area for a while. Today the noise got worse so we cut our trip and hoped to make it home in one piece. We’re waiting to hear back from good old Stanley, our fav mechanic (next to Dan, of course). I think a new vehicle will be in our future this year.
Room moving is proceeding, but at a slower pace. I have a 2nd epidural next Wednesday so I can’t take any anti-inflammatory meds until after that. I don’t do much now, just in case I’d do something worthy of a Celebrex and not be able to avail myself. Good thinking.
Lindsey Girl’s 26th birthday is today. She’s so busy I don’t know when we’ll exactly see her. I spoke with her briefly today to wish her Happy Birthday. I think she may try to get down on Saturday sometime. If we’re lucky we’ll get a heads-up on what hour. No telling with Lindsey Girl. Sunday she’ll be getting ready to go to Roanoke on Monday. Plus Sunday is Don’s birthday.
