Dan’s been busy gathering things for his little Mustang. This week his additional key and remote came in from eBay. He met a man yesterday who was able to cut the key and program the remote so now that’s taken care of. We probably spent $40 instead of the $100s the dealer or Ford wanted. Another eBay seller asking if we wanted a refund since he wouldn’t be able to ship our new set of car manuals until Tuesday. “No, we’re good." Then that will be done. And yesterday the new floor mats arrived, gray ones with the GT logo on them. We ordered them on the evening before. SInce it was after 4pm we weren’t expecting delivery until Friday or so. Dan was delighted.
The last thing he’s ordered is a Magellan Meridian External Power Cable with Cigarette Lighter Adapter to go with his GPS he bought a couple of weeks ago from Amazon. So then I guess we’ll be able to use all these contraptions to go somewhere in style without locking ourselves out of the car and not get lost. What a deal! I’ve told Dan he’s cut off now…I need to sell some more stuff to replenish my PayPal account! And he’s going to pay me back by taking me somewhere (anywhere). I’m thinking maybe Oriental again for a weekend, and later on Charleston SC or Savannah GA. Think big. Of course CO will be later on this summer.
Oh I forgot - we’re going to Lowe’s today after therapy so he can buy a new grill cover. Ours is torn up and they don’t make this one anymore. He spied some leftover stock on a shelf somewhere. When he goes to Lowe’s or places like that I usually use it as my walking track. Some people go to the mall and become Mall Walkers, getting their exercise early in the morning before the mall opens up. Well, I’m a store walker. I do a couple of laps around Farm Fresh or Home Depot while he looks at everything in sight.
Looks like I’ll be getting therapy and walking today.
