This morning I went over the the Senior Center for the first time since about October. It was nice to see everybody again, but I discovered that crocheting is not good on my shoulder. By the time I left I felt like the collarbone was having an issue again. We don’t want any more poo-outs, now do we?!
I was able to borrow another scrapbook for the weekend. The last one provided lots of info for my genealogy files! I love the scrapbooks that have been donated to the center by folks in the community. There’s so much in the saved newspaper clippings from graduations, death, marriages and murder. Yes, even murder from the early 40s-50s are especially interesting.
Dan’s been cutting grass – the first big cut of the season. He came in a while ago saying he’d gone around on the back side of the dog pen (read low side) and got stuck. He had to take the truck around to pull the mower out.
Since I’ve moved my gardening blog onto this blog here’s my latest updates. My 2 little rows of Sugar Snap Peas are up and showing true leaves already. The lettuce bordering the edge is finally visible, yeah! And I found out Dan cut the ends off the Nandina branches.Maybe tomorrow we can them shoved into the ground to start creating a back fence for more climbers.
