TESTS

I have finally finished dealing with all the other aches and pains, twisted ribs, necks, needles, etc. and now have reached the point where I can pursue finding out why I am having all these headaches.

They come suddenly, go quickly and between time hurt like you’ve stood up under an open kitchen cabinet door and slammed the hell out of yourself. I don’t know if I’m moving in the wrong way or turning funny. Nothing much helps to end them. But I tell myself that the heating pad has some affect, but it really doesn’t.

Anyway, I saw my doctor a few weeks ago; I guess he didn’t realize that I was trying to tell him it’s been long term now. He suggested sinus and gave me a prescription for some stuff. If it were sinus all the pills we have at home would work…Allegra, Zertec, Sine Off, even Tylenol and Excederin Sinus. But no, it’s not sinus and they didn’t help. I saved myself the $25 for a prescription I didn’t need or want and went back.

I saw him again last Thursday instead of waiting until February. Tomorrow I am getting a CT scan at the Princess Anne facility, along with a couple of other tests. I have to be there by 7am; hopefully will be back around lunch. I do have a 2 hour window between two tests, the last one starting at 10:30.

I am praying that I get answers from this. Just sitting here writing this I feel a pain starting and I’m not doing anything except moving my fingers.

On Sept. 9 I’m going to get a checkup with the eye guy in case it’s something to do with that. I already have a problem with the other eye, with that little lizard-like film that crosses vertically in humid weather. So fun. But at least it doesn’t hurt.

For a slice of good news I’ve reached my $1,000 goal already, selling stuff in my Eccentric Thrifter store. That’s some good lunch money! And another good news trivia is that I’m still slowly, but steadily losing weight. Will take forever, but whatever. If it gets weight off my joints than I’m good with it. I did 2.6 on my treadmill today with the #2 slope. Woohoo. Booking along!
