Change Can Be A Good Thing

I have been slammed for being like the wind, but I can’t help it – I like change. Yesterday was landscape day here and  that little bed in front of the greenhouse was due!
    
We’d let a Dog Fennel grow that came up by the pavers. We just wanted to see what it would do. It only had about 3 inches of soil. Guess that’s why the stalk got so huge, to hang on with!
The latest change came yesterday while it was a little bit cool in the morning. We’d been waiting for Fall to get here so  we could finish taking out the rest of the Daylillies, but I couldn’t wait any longer – we pulled them up the other day and LaVerne loaded them in her truck and they went down the road to their new home.
So that left the roses and some worn out Mums struggling to make an appearance. Dan had said he kinda like the arc left from when the pool was in place, but that arc is now history. I’m happy to say that Danny likes the new setup much better. I’m still deciding whether I really like the blocks like we put them, but at least they’re not strewn about the yard.
