Our hearts are heavy today. Ted has left us too early. He passed yesterday morning. Last night we went ahead and had Happy Hour, thinking maybe we could use being together. We were honored to have Ted’s son with his family and sister stop by. They were so sad. His son looks so much like Ted. He came to thank us all for including Ted into our little rag-tag assembled family of friends and neighbors. Ted had enjoyed it all so much; it gave his son pleasure to hear of all the things we did that included Ted.
A short time ago I was told that Ted’s father had just died this afternoon after suffering a massive heart attack. My heart aches for the family as they go thru not one, but two deaths in the family in two days. I feel so bad for Ted’s mother who has only her grandchildren for comfort now.
