I recently finished a long camo scarf for Hubster. It was a requested Christmas gift, even tho he actually was under the misimpression that he'd have use of it before Christmas (HA)! Well, then after he opened it on Christmas morning he wanted it even longer. His plan is to use it for hunting, even tho I've casually mentioned (read warned) to him that NO ONE around here hunts with a scarf on. I sometimes wonder if he's a Metro-Man in disguise or maybe just suffering from displacement (we are in the country, after all). Long story short, he loves it and is very happy. Oh, the simplest things in life mean the most! I am holding my breath for him to request a matching hat.
In between all this crocheting for him I finish up an afghan Christmas gift for my daughter. I guess she'll always be a kid at heart. Here she 'models' her new afghan - never know she's 28 years old. But she and her own Hubster liked it as well as could be. Score one more for the old lady!!I have one more that I've told you about already. That is a birthday present for my other sweet girl, who will be 26 mid January. I have been doing very well with that one, until I switched to a new skein of black and didn't notice for a row and a half that it was a different color black! eGads! How can you have a different black - aren't they suppose to be black??!! Had to do some pulling and rethinking, but I'm back on track. I'll share a completed photo soon.
