This...That

Has it really been that long since my last post? Gosh, with the days growing shorter I keep running out of time each day.

I started going back to my post-therapy exercise again this week. I've wanted to get back to it quite a while now. During summer the extreme heat made it hard - I hated the thought of having to dress, ride all the way over there, sweat my butt off and ride all the way back feeling tired and nasty. But now that the weather is clearing, I'm there. The first day I was tired but exhilarated. I've concluded that I will never look how I want to, but as long as I'm healthy it doesn't really matter what size I am. Yes, I want to lose for the sake of my joints, that remains a constant. But I don't worry because I'm not a size 10  for the sake of having anyone see me. They don't do anything for me except make me feel guilty anyway, so screw that!

I had x-rays done on my left shoulder which is so difficult to sleep with now; and on my sinuses. For several years now we've tried to find out why I have these insane head pains. Since nothing else could be found I think sinus may be the culprit. I want to go see a doc before winter gets here. The pains are so bad in winter. I really should be living in FL myself just for those damn aches (I"m sure it would help the joints too).

On Monday Mom and I went to see Anna Mae Dozier Wise, Daddy's 99 year old cousin living in a Portsmouth nursing home. She said she's going to move soon; I hope it will be closer. She doesn't have much family and enjoys seeing Mom.

After the visit Mom went for her follow-up at the neurologist. Tests showed no new strokes (PTL) and he's moved her around on some medications. Maybe those will help her dizziness to be better soon!

I had posted this on the LadieAnn crochet blog, but here is a photo of my newest creation:
I made Abby a little black and tan dog sweater using the round knitting loom! Abby loved it! Hmmm...maybe I need to make a couple to put in my store? Winter is coming and the sweater turned out terrific!

Today it's 67° and the three of us are loving it! We sat outside for a while, reading our book about an Indian out loud while Abby ran around in circles, playing with gumballs. For some reason she loves those!

We're still getting ready for that illusive yard sale. The stuff keeps piling up in the garage and HE keeps delaying. It'll be spring before it happens - you watch!
