This is my newest project - making crochet hearts for a Valentine's party at the local nursing home. These are so quick and easy. I found a sweet video on YouTube but had to adapt it for my large size N hook. I wanted hearts that were larger than those on the video. These are 2¾ inches long and 2¾ inches wide. I tied the tails into a tiny bow and left a loop at the top for options, like wearing looped on a button or hanging from a Heart tree.
Start with a magic ring.
Chain 3
Do 4 triple crochet
Do 3 double crochet
Do 2 triple crochet
Do 3 double crochet
Do 4 triple crochet
Do a chain 3 and slip-stitch into the center of the heart.
Pull a loop through, then flip over, cut the yarn and tie the ends together.
Fluff as needed :)
