Super Bowl Weekend

I would imagine most of you are preparing party food or at least who you will  yell and scream at the  TV with. We're not much on football. I used to watch it before we got married; Dan's not a sports fan. He's more of a history buff. So we skip the football and when we feel "sporty" we will watch some boxing, of all things. I don't like it when it gets  too violent (as if fighting had its good moments), but it is a one on one sport with a lot of stragety and such going on. We enjoy Contender, but usually miss it.

Back to the Super Bowl - I don't know who is playing, where they are playing, or if it's cold or hot there. I don't know what time they are playing; I do believe it will be on Sunday. I have seen more on TV about the massive amount of money being paid for 30 seconds of commercial TV air time than anything else. I've even seen some of the commercial "previews." Last year I went online and found everyone of them and didn't even have to watch the game. Aren't I clever?

I think I will take the time to enjoy the peace and quiet, work on my online store a little (heaven knows I don't need to list anything because no one will be online except me). And I have my crocheting which I like to do in the winter because it keeps my lap warm. I've been working on hats and scarves this year, so my lap is lacking in the warmth dept. Oh well, I have enough from years past to pull one up. Yes, Super Bowl weekend is good for the peace it brings. That and soup.
