I'm working on my selling sites; you know, eBay, eCrater, etc. I've added a few and deleted a few places - just doing my online housekeeping.
- Got rid of the hat blog in favor of trying Yarn Yearnings, a free Synthasite web site I created. Synthasite has a store widget for selling stuff. It was way easier than doing the blog.
- I'm testing to see if I should spring for the $7/month at the new Art Fire sell handmade stuff site or just try to wing it on my own using the free site. They're giving away 5000 $7 gigs before they all go to $20. It reverts when the 5000 are done. I still have some time since there are still have 2500 spots left. Art Fire has a lot to offer me. Right now I'm just using the free part of Art Fire so I'm limited to 10 items. Currently I have 13 hats and 8 afghans with 2 more hats and 2 scarves coming. You see my dilemma - pay for unlimited + primo ads or wing it alone for free?
- Woo-Hoo! I've got a potpourri crock pot auction that ends today. Yes, it'll be sold since I got the bid and it did better than I'd expected. I also sold 2 items from my SuperStuff store this week: a like new black Similac Diaper Bag and an electric candle warmer I picked up new from a thrift store.
I've finished 2 more crochet hats; one is for Melissa's friend. Now I'm doing the scarf. I'm sure I've done and undone it so much by now that I could have done 3 scarves if I didn't care if it were even! But I did care, so I'd take out and put back in again. You can't really tell if it's crooked until you get about 3 lines on.
Dan made bean soup yesterday with deer meat. It's ok; you can tell it doesn't have any salt meat in it. At least the beans are soft for Dan's poor tooth to gnaw on.
Well that's about it for now. I've got to go measure some afghans! Have a lovely afternoon!
