Old Timey Helmet Hat

Do you remember when you were a kid and your mom plopped on one of those helmet hats before you even looked at the door to head outside? Well....

I have made my first hand crocheted helmet hat.

It really turned out pretty good, which you can't see well in this photo. (I really need to get a kid mannequin head or a kid to model these). It keeps the neck nice and cozy and Mom will really like the 13 inch ties on this - you know how they love to tie stuff on your head! There's that cute little pompom action up topside to make it known that your kid is a really cute kid too!
