Well... it's finally in the 20°s so I reckon now it's cold enough to start working on that afghan I keep putting off!
I think I've been looking at it the way a lot of people look at cutting the grass... thinking about it is worse than the actual doing. But once you get started it's a rather pleasant thing that gives you time to think. I did a lot of 'figuring' stuff out on a lawn mower and when you crochet with a simple stitch that really becomes second nature, like breathing, you can free your mind up and think of other things while you work. (You think warm thoughts, maybe)?
Anyway, today just might be my day -- I'll keep you posted on how it goes! I gotta go think about colors.
