After a fairly rough week that culminated with Dad seeing a new doctor and getting new meds to try (so far, so good) we actually started the weekend with a trip to the Spa. Both Melissa and Grammy enjoyed an hour of relaxing blissful massage while the rest of us checked out a few stores close-by. A super-duper Italian luncheon afterwards "capped the stack" as they say. On the way home our relaxed ladies stopped by a very busy Cullipher's Farm Market for Mom's string beans and corn.
On Sunday afternoon everyone felt good enough to venture over to the shop for a small fish-fry (a special request by Daddy, who's had a hankering for fish lately). Add pone bread, baked beans, and potato salad too. And did I mention that it was all topped off with Mom's delicious homemade Lemon Pie? Mmmmm Good! Everything was awesome, I must say!
Well, here they are heading back out, full of fish, fun, laughter and love... just the way we like them...
Melissa had an extra day to enjoy this time and didn't have to go back until late Monday evening. It was great having her here so long - I hated to see her go again. But hopefully all that relaxing will help her work week go by quickly and stress-free. I'm sure everyone else's will be good!
