This may look like a jumbled mess but it's not! It's my latest creation - a baby blue and white Potato Chip scarf.
I must say it seemed like the scarf from hell at times. I had planned to use a fluffy yellow border that was similar to the blue used. I got all the way through to the very last stitch and found out it was about a foot too short. So I pulled it out and tried again.
This time I used a single stitch instead of the half-double crochet stitch, thinking I might be able to stretch it out a little further. It did, just not enough. This time it was about 6 inches too short. So I pulled it out and tried again.
Now I was sure the yellow was not an option so I went with the plain white yarn. Not the same effect I was hoping for with the fluffy, but I do find that I love the clean, elegant look of the blue and white much better.
For my short self I think it's too long, but everyone who's seen it loves it and thinking it's perfect as is. I started with 221 chains. I may shorten that on my next one anyway... there are more shorter people than just me out there!!
