Happiness is a new Hook! I can't tell you the last time I ever bought a crochet hook. I inherited the ones I use. But this week I broke bad and went to get something a little smaller.
I've really been getting into these Granny Square hats, but I want them to be a little bit tighter, with smaller holes. Plus I can make some smaller hats for children now. I can't wait to get my first one done!
Meanwhile I've been going back over some of my older scarf projects and doing some re-evaluations. I had a purple and lavender scarf that looked great in person but I could never get it too look right in photos. I really think scarves is not my thing; hats are my thing!
So I took the purple lavender scarf apart and made a purple hat and a lavender hat... both of which look stupendous, even though they are not Granny style!
They will be going into my craft show booth in November! I can't wait, but I guess I better - you definitely need colder weather to sell winter hats LoL!
So now it's on to little bitty hats, a pefrect sized project for hot August and September days.
