As for home life, things are pretty good now. Mom’s recent doc appointment went well. She will shuffle a few night-time meds to alleviate some morning residual effects, and that Parkinson test shows she’s not involved with that whatsoever. Hallelujah! I guess the worse health issue these days is Danny having pain behind his knee. They’re working on it, but it has put a kink in his getting much done on the infrequent sunny days we get between rain and snow days.
I’ve started posting a few Hawaiian shirts to eBay. Google has messed up small sellers on most venues. Believe me, it’s an act of desperation that drives me back to eBay. I’m sick of all these shirts being here! Plus I’ve been scouting out some different browsers. So many to choose from. Too bad I’m never in favor of the normal ones like Chrome, IE, Firefox, etc. I’ve tried them all and I’m spoiled with Torch and Cent browsers right now.
Church keeps me going too. Yesterday I went to the blood drive; too bad I have ‘white-coat syndrome’ which made my BP go too high to be a donor. But I was able to loan them a computer cable to borrow. I still sing Sunday mornings and really love my tiny Sunday School class. If we ever got everyone there at the same time I think we’d be up to five members. We have great Bible discussions in there. I’ve also been thinking of how to get the choir back on the agenda now that the new program format transition is fairly mainstream now. I think we’ve all missed it over the last 6 weeks. I’ve pretty much finished working on the new phone directory and will get that out for corrections this week. I keep the church website and calendar updated and try to post on their Facebook page too. This Sunday after church will be the last War Room Bible study meeting; we’re having a group luncheon too, so should be fun.
Warm weather is greatly appreciated. The muddy driveway is drying and the three critters, Abby, Toby, & Kitty are enjoying jockeying for position at the front door’s puddle of sun each morning. I’ve got one more plant to repot and hope to get that done soon. I love the changing seasons. Maybe I’m pushing it a little but I just can’t wait too much longer.
