Girls Day

It was as close to Girls Day Out as I've ever had. Mom had given me a gift certificate for a pedicure and today we went for it! It was just lovely, being pampered like that. Soothing warm water and a back massage, all at the same time. The salon was owned by a Vietnamese family. A wonderful young fellow named Tan took care of us and was a delight to talk with, especially when he told us about his former home so far away. My pink tipped toes are a pleasant reminder of a good new memory I'll always have about the day Mom and I went out!

Afterwards we had lunch at the Warriors Grill, selecting our own ingredients and watching as men went round and round a huge grill, moving our food constantly as they went. It was very good. About once or twice a year is aplenty though. Gotta watch that salt intake!

Even though it wasn't a long day by the time we returned after a quick stop by Dillards and Kohls my head was and still is hurting so bad I can hardly think. It is coming from my neck. In the last 2 weeks it's gotten so I have to be careful how I sit -- I am now getting tingling up and down my right arm, depending how my neck is squishing whatever nerve from Hell it has to hit to do this. Apparently I'm pretty good at hitting the darn thing. I get that feeling just standing sometimes and it's already affecting my computer operating time. Guess I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and call my dear Dr. Barr and see if shots will offer some relief. I hate to do it. I had neck shots last time and they seemed to be the worse ones of all I've had.

Gotta stop now. It's hurting a lot. Say a prayer if you think of it. Extra Strength Excederin doesn't touch it.
