I have an interview this morning for what could be my new perfect job. A local vet is looking for someone to work part time entering data into a computer. Well, I can certainly do that! I mean it's not like I don't do that everyday of the year at home! This job is probably as close to home as I could ever get, being just over 10 miles away, up the backroads heading towards Centerville. And even better, since they only want someone 15-20 hours a week it sounds just perfect for me and my situation. And did I mention it's "casual" dress!? Who could ask for more? But it all remains to be seen.
I have about 7 items to ship this morning. I guess they're right when they say the weekend is the best time to end an auction. Or maybe it's just that folks are coming out of a slump and buying more. Either way, I did pretty good this weekend.
I need to get back to doing a little more genealogy. I know Betty Jane wants to come out; I'd expected her last week after getting an email from her. But it's given me more time to do a bit more hunting.
We watched 4 baby killdeer running up and down the driveway yesterday morning. They don't stay around long so it was very special to be able to see them so long. They looked just like little toothpicks with fuzzballs on top!
Lest I start to feel like a fuzzball I better get going - it's time to take on the day!
