When I think about all my jobs, my life experiences I've done so many different things. It's not like if I had gone into a career and was a nurse in different places; I've had different kinds of jobs. I've done shipping and receiving and purchasing for military suppliers and fork lift dealers. I was day manager at a greenhouse. I have worked at a cremation place and an office supply. When I worked at Captain Dee's I was asked to be "Capt. Dee's" first mate and visit schools (I left the area and wasn't able to do that, but I was asked). I scrubbed kennels for half a day, which was so aweful I left at lunchtime and told them they didn't even have to pay me, just color me gone! I've transplanted tomatoes in Ohio greenhouses, ran an office for a refrigeration company (we bought an industrial freezer), plotted new houses for a construction company, and sold car parts at the city garage (where I first met Danny). I helped elderly people sing in a choir and feel like life hadn't passed them by. And now I'm going to work for a horse doctor!
Who says that variety is not the spice of life? I'm feeling very spicy today and look forward to much more before it's all said and done. What's in your spice cabinet?
