A pretty good day. Danny & I took off this morning in Stanley's little truck to run errands, including dropping off the SUV transmission. That truck has no power steering so it was a bear to manuver into parking lots. Poor Danny was worn out by the time we got back home.

We managed to stop by the post office to mail Melissa's scholarship forms and a couple of ebay packages, then the bank for capital replenishment. Next was the transmission shop which just happened to be across the street practically from our favorite junk store. Of course we went there. Then we just had to eat since we were getting headaches so we headed to Pizza Hut for a change and did the lunch buffet of salad and pizza. Next stop was the new Salvation Army that just opened. I mean, we were going right by. We got gas in the truck and stopped by the store at the bridge for milk and headed home.

We actually made pretty good time. I bought 2 shirts; Danny got an iron cornbread thing that I knew wasn't selling much on eBay, but he said "you watch and see" anyway. We found a couple of books (one on sailing), and lo, and behold we actually found some trays like they use in fast food places. We'd been talking about getting some, but those are really hard to find in a thrift store. We found a huge stack of them, but only bought 4 for $1.00. We eat in front of the TV all the time and use them everyday.

We had a good time and when we got home I headed out to see what was selling on eBay and Danny actually let himself relax while his back rested. He watched part of a movie and glanced through his new book.

I spent the afternoon writing ads and doing some research. Yesterday I was contacted by a lady in Winston-Salem who had some genealogy questions about my site. After several emails we've discovered I have a lot of information that she's been looking for. It's very exciting and rewarding to have this happen. I will start fresh tomorrow and delve into her family line for her on this end to see what goodies I can find to share.

I have a serious headache though now and need to check out. I think it's from the dark chocolate I ate. Bummer! I love dark choc.
