Things are getting a wee bit better. Today I went to the surgeon's office. Instead of surgery he gave me a big ol' needle and set me up for therapy. He says that about 80% of the time this works, and unless the tear got worse it would be ok. YEAH! Surgery avoided! (So far)
I am pleased to announce that the pool is finally down. We're looking at plain old sand that's seeing the sky for the first time in a long time. Not sure what we'll end up doing with the space. I'm thinking hot tub (recommended by my doctors) and a fire pit. The theory is that we'll get year 'round use out of these vs. summer use only from a pool. Plus it's less maintanence for my guy. I'm hoping he's considering all the work he's doing now taking everything apart an investment in the future!
Dan's getting that urge to go find a job again. Trouble is, he just doesn't know exactly what he wants to do. I've told him that if he gets something that makes him as miserable as he was for the last 30 years he ain't coming home. I think it's his turn to find something that makes him happy. And good money for spending a little time is a good thing too! He really doesn't want to work at home, preferring to leave the mess of taxes and business licenses to others. Just a nice little pay check for a job well done will do nicely, thank you.
Speaking of thank you, thanks for your prayers for my shoulder getting better.
