Today is very hot. My KlipFolio shows that it's 92° already. I had to go out and water all the plants on the deck while ago. I had noticed that the one by the bird feeders getting droopy yesterday. Today was practically too late. I may have to water that one again this evening.
Dan is struggling with his decision to take the job in Camden. It's a long way to drive and will take up 2 hours of his day just in driving. We've kind of figured with all the expenses that it might not pay to make up the difference in going there to start with. Paying taxes in two states can't be a good thing. We're going to see our Tax Man tomorrow and get his advise on a few things. Maybe he can tell us about paying NC taxes.
He wants to at least start doing something from home, regardless of whether he gets an outside job or not. I'm going to get him some business cards made up. Tthis morning he started "networking" and spoke to a few people about sending him some marine work. There's plenty to be had.
We need to pray that God makes this decision. That's the only way to get it right.
I have therapy tomorrow. My arm is worse for the exercises I've done so far. It get's hung up and then snaps back into place. It hurts something awful when that happens.
I don't work again until Wednesday. In a way that's a good thing, not having to work every day. But not knowing or having a schedule is a little weird. So far I'm playing it by ear, as Dan would say.
No playing now. Gotta get back to doing some major research. Life's in transition and I need an education!
