Since there are several yard sales happening this Saturday around here we've decided to jump in too. Today Danny and I started getting stuff priced and ready to go. It's short notice but we figure we don't often get a chance to do a yard sale in our neck of the woods. We usually don't get enough traffic. There is going to be one in NC at the Community Center and we're hoping the visitors to that one will be driving by our house. Let's hope so! Randy and Lynne decided to join us and will attend with their goodies at our site so hopefully the added "stuff" will make our yard sale look tempting.
Danny still struggles with the job in Camden. He called and declined two days ago, but today he called the man back and scheduled a talk with him on Friday. I really think Danny would enjoy working at a Marine place. I understand now that the owner is getting ready to open a 2nd place in Elizabeth City. Dan has more questions and I finally told him to just call and tell him you want to talk. For all he knows the guy might be willing to take Danny part-time, which would solve most of the problem. Danny just doesn't want to work full time yet. He didn't get to finish up his projects and things around here. He's only been waiting for, like, 15 years! You have to remember that this cold Danny's been fighting is the 2nd one he's had since Feb. and it really put the schedule out of wack.
Well, say a prayer for Dan to make the right decision. I've told him that if he doesn't like it he can always quit. It's not a 30 year commitment again.
