You know how I've said that Danny is cleaning out the shop and moving and shaking a lot lately. Well, now he's got ads in the Trading Post. Yesterday afternoon a man came by to look at some parts for a Sears mower and Danny ended up selling him the whole mower...It didn't even have a motor!!! Of course it went cheap. I mean we're not getting a new line of work started here or nothing. Dan is just making room for any new crapola that he manages to pick up in the future. My guess is that we may see an influx of marine motor parts. I'm sure if his new job is going to throw out anything it'll manage to come live at my house for a while.
Today he had a man show up after calling from Hickory. This one was interested in a deck to some dismantled machine. Well, we've had another man who's called several times from Smithfield for the same deck. The Smithfield man was going to come yesterday, but decided not to after spending the day with his wife and mother-in-law on the road all day. I guess he didn't want to drive all the way out here with them getting bored and tired. Anyway he was going to come today to see the deck...You guessed it. He called while the man from Hickory was here.
Long story short the man from Hickory bought the thing and the man from Smithfield learned the meaning of "snooze, you lose." Let's go cut some grass!
