Danny's hunting. Lindsey and her dad are looking at houses. I'm all alone and working on fixing up some files that were messed up when the computer went down.
Dan and I walked in the woods yesterday morning looking for a tree that the pastor could use for a Blessing Tree for Sunday's service. We took the dogs and enjoyed seeing the differences in how things had grown over the summer. It had been about 8 months since I'd been back there. (I don't go when it gets snakey). When we got back we took everything out of the greenhouse so we could move it up by my office. Dan's been working on getting the stakes out of the ground. Ever since we had a couple of snakes in it when we first moved it by the woods I haven't used it except to store shovels and pots. We've been discussing moving it for a long time.
We also talked about making the circle where the pool used to be a tad smaller by bringing in the border of cinderblocks. We are planning on putting a hot tub in and making an herb garden.
You won't believe it but yesterday I came home from work and of course it was already dark. I asked Danny how the rest of his day had been and he said he'd moved the blocks, making the circle and the potential herb garden a little bit smaller and easier to keep. I peered out the windows but couldn't quite see except the reflection of the kitchen. So I went out on the deck to get a better look. I even turned on the light from the office. I was concentrating so hard on the blocks that I didn't even see the big ol' greenhouse sitting right there next to the building until I started down the back steps! I couldn't believe my eyes! Danny had moved the greenhouse all by himself!
I cried and gave him a big hug.
We'll have to position it a little bit more but it's really up here!!! I can't wait. This morning it was around 34°; at noon it was 85°. We have some planning to do but I really can't wait to get in there again. I know we want to build a planter box on the side like we had it before when it was by the shop. It's gonna be terrific!
Woo-Hoo!
