Moving Day

I guess that today is the real moving day for Lindsey. Her dad is suppose to come by with his truck and help us get her piano, bed, and display cabinet moved. These are the big three. Of course there is an entertainment center for her TV, a desk, a grill, and lots of boxes. She's so excited. This week she met the gas company to get the gas turned on. Yesterday afternoon she stopped by her house on the way here and checked on things - yep! It's nice and warm inside with the heat on low and she now has hot water.

Luckily she has gift cards to Lowes and Bed Bath and Beyond, which are both pretty close by. She also has the advantage of all the friends she's made at Q-Masters over the past year to help her out. One guy works for a door company and he's already been there to fix a gap at the front door. I told her she will have to have a "garden" party when it starts warming up and have a work detail of friends to fix up her yard, followed by a BBQ dinner for all!

Mom and Bro went out yesterday to buy Daddy a TV, his last Christmas present. They came back with a hugh rear projection unit that fills the corner. Dad should have no trouble at all seeing that screen!

Mom is getting over her cold finally, after (stubborn mule that she is) she went to see the doctor. Her broken bones are healing nicely. We'll be going to her weekly hair appointment in a little while.

I'm trying to set up some free store websites. I think I've got too much going right now. Before I wasn't working for most of the year and it wasn't too hard to keep up with things. Working really throws a monkey wrench into everything. I just get started fixing a database or photographing sale items and it's time to get ready to leave again.

I signed up for a store on Ebay again. Last year I did and after two months cancelled it, believing that I sold more at auction. I don't know what made me try it again. But if I decide to cancel I won't be out much.

I went two times this week to visit Contours Express at Centerville and Mt. Pleasant. I absolutely love doing the exercises, but alas, Dr. Barr has said that I shouldn't. The owner was nice enough to give me a free week to try it out and see what impact it had. I think my bones rattle a little more in my shoulders, but that could be because my right one is still mending from the September surgery. I know I won't be able to continue though and more than likely I won't be disciplined enough to do it at home, but I'm going to give it my best try.
