No, I couldn't either. It was bad enough on Tuesday when I locked the keys in the car. Yesterday I arrived at work to be told that I was being let go. Seems that they need to purchase a $20,000 range hood for the school kitchen. I guess I was at the bottom of the totem pole. They said it wasn't because I did anything wrong. They also said "You'll be back" but things like that have a way of never quite fulfilling the promise. 'Nuff said. I move forward, focus on the next big adventure. Pray for me to remember that.
Today Betty Jane is coming over and I'm hoping to get her family book finished up. Then I'll start on Dr. Barr's family cookbook.
Maybe it's a good thing that things have turned out like they have. I now have time to finally finish something up. Danny and I are planning on tying knots in a few more loose ends too. My keyboard is still sitting in the middle of the living room with nowhere to call home. I've got all those items to get listed online. And now I can go to exercise when I want to; maybe I'll go everyday, who knows.
Now all the rest of you have a great day and enjoy what you have while you can.
