Well, I did it. I am now the owner of Cookbook Memories, the website. We'll see how I do with this one. It's about making cookbooks out of family recipes. (Now, let me think...where did I hear this before). I thought I'd try it and see how it goes. I've added a link on the right so you can check it out if you want. I'm open to suggestions so don't be shy.
I dropped off a resume yesterday to a lawyers office. I'm not too sure about it though. The girl at the desk didn't know what I was talking about. But it was lunchtime and I got the impression she doesn't usually do the frontdesk except for lunchtime. Not too swift herself. Their ad said they needed someone to do some heavy 'inputting' of info into their computer and I can do that.
If I pursue a job with the state I need to go get a driver's report. Maybe I'll get that today and mail everything to them.
Dan finished the painting in the bedroom and I'm pretty sure tomorrow is red letter day as far as putting the guest room together. I can't wait. When I was younger and not so decrepid I used to move furniture around a lot. Of course, that may be why I'm decrepid now. Our furniture has stayed the same ever since we moved in back in 1993, except for a chair or table or two. Everything we own is heavy. Big bed, big dressers, big entertainment center. Even Big Mama's old couch weighs a ton with the old "fold-down-into-a-bed" back that it has.
So nothing gets moved. I think that's why I used to move plants around a lot. But even that has stopped now. After my 2000 hip operation I quit jumping on shovels. I guess that's a good thing. Everything has grown past where it used to get to. You know, restarting life in a new hole has a downside.
Well, enough for this morning. I need to get started on some new life myself. Gotta get that website ready! Have a good one!
