It's cold and icky outside. It's been like that most of the day. A lot of accidents on the road this evening. Melissa said it snowed a little the other night.
I've spent most of the day at Betty Jane's house. I ran a scan on her computer and it said there were over 1000 infections. No wonder there are problems! Got those straight and started on some computer housekeeping. We've conquered the inbox; now we are setting our sites on the photos. BJ does a lot of photos. I'm going to see if I can find her a great little program so the pictures won't be all over the place. Do any of you use Picasa? I've read in several places that it's one of the best free programs. I have downloaded it and am giving it a test drive.
Danny came out while ago and asked me to check something on his computer. While we were sitting there I kept hearing something boiling. I knew he was doing spaghetti. I didn't know he'd put the sauce in a pot with no lid and that, even on low, it was spitting all over the stove and wall. Even the salt & pepper shakers had some. Bummer! But we got it up. The wall behind the stove has needed painting ever since we built the house. Maybe this will be the motivation to paint or tile.
Speaking of paint, he started painting the walls in Lindsey's old room. I wanted something in a pale taupe. This turned out so pale it's hard to see where he's painted on the white walls. We consoled ourselves with the fact that it is a little room and you wouldn't want dark walls in there. Boy! That's not a problem with this paint. I didn't go in there today since I was gone. Maybe it dried a little bit darker. But at least there aren't any holes in the wall anymore. Lindsey girl sure used a lot of tacks to put up her posters!!!
We're going over to the shop in a while to sing Happy Birthday to Ted tonight. His birthday is tomorrow and she made him a cake. I can't stay long if I get there at all (there has been a delay in our supper, you know). It's going to be cold sitting there I'm sure. Mom said no one was able to come except Nancy, Gary, and Ted, and of course, Mom & Dad.
Well, here he comes so I'll close. Take care, stay warm.
