My Atta Girl

I am so proud of myself today. I got on the treadmill and actually made it to 30 minutes! Big woo-hoo! I went 1.1 miles and killed over 80 calories.

Back when I first started using the treadmill I was doing the 1.0 setting, then moved to 1.8; I graduated myself to 2.0 and occasionally a 2.2 For the last few days I’ve been tampering with the 2.5, doing a few minutes before diving back to a more manageable rate. But on this day I did 2.5 for about 12 minutes, did 2.2 for about 5 minutes for a break, then another 2.5; finally I cooled down my last minute at 2.0.

OMG! 2.0 seems so slow now! (Picture big grin here). I wasn’t too tired after quitting. My biggest problem is that my left calf feels so much harder than the right, so if I hadn’t had that I might could have done a few more minutes.

It was so cool to see the 30 minute mark pass for the first time…that’s the default setting so when it was reached all the lights started blinking!
My new goal: Aim to Blink!
